UTAH FUN!!

I'm Back! And so so so behind on blogging! So get ready for a huge post with tons of pictures! We had such a great time in Utah! It means so much to us to get to have all the time with our family and friends! We did so many fun things and made lots of great memories! We are happy to be home especially to see Jake! And it has been great to see all of our fun friends here as well!

We took the girls out for their first sledding experience! It was especially fun for me that it was down Old Main Hill in Logan! I grew up sledding there, and have lots of great memories! Unfortunately it started raining and was so windy right when we got there! So we only made it half way down the hill one time!! Oh well...it still counts, right?!

This was the attempted 2nd trip down the hill! They were not excited about that!

We were able to go see the lights at Temple Square and a delicious dinner at the Spaghetti Factory with Jake's Family!

Sadie thoroughly enjoying every last drip of the Spumoni ice cream!

The cousins!

Me and Holli!

It was so much fun to have the girls get to spend all kinds of time with their cousins! One of the highlights was a "tea party" at my brother's house! All of the kids were so cute to the girls!

We were lucky enough to spend about a week in Sunny St. George! The first couple of days Jake's Mom and sister and cousin Hailey were down there with us! We shopped and hung out! It was so much fun!

One of Sadie's new moves....the dog pile!!

We had a fun early birthday party for the girls...it is so much fun to get my whole family together! It is so crazy and LOUD!!

Samantha and Baby Briggs! I was so glad we got her to sit here all cute with him and not attack him! Sadie was NOT interested! They were so JEALOUS if I was even near him! Good thing we're not having a baby around here anytime soon....I would be so worried for its life!!!!

These next few pictures are the beginning of 3 different 2 Year Old Birthday Bashes we had for the girls!! They were so spoiled this year! We are so glad we were able to celebrate with everyone, it was so much fun! These pictures are from the little party we had with Jake's family before we came home.

Christmas 2008

I apologize for taking so long to get these Christmas pictures up, but here they are in all their glory! We were lucky enough to spend the Holidays in Utah with family and friends. The girls were awesome and really got into the dolly strollers Santa brought them!

As you can see from the pictures the girls have been having so much fun playing with all their cousins! We have done so many fun things...and I still have oodles of fun pictures to post, but the computer is giving me all kinds of grief tonight so I will have to try again soon!
P.S.-The adorable Ute baby by the presents is my new nephew Briggs!
He just turned 1 month today! We were so excited to meet him!

Santa!

We took the girls to see Santa at a fun Christmas party Jake's work put on! Just as expected, they HATED HIM!! We attempted earlier in the month and the girls, especially Sadie went into full body convulsions just at the sight of Santa! So we have been talking him up, and when you ask them what Santa says they say Ho! Ho! Ho!! But as you will see from the picture, again he was not a hit! Maybe we will have better luck next year!! It was still worth going, it was a great party! They had fun balloon artists, little games, cookie decorating, and Breakfast.

Samantha - the balloons are flowers if your not sure!

Samantha cannot get out of the sled fast enough!! Fun Memories!!

Here is another view, this one was taken by Jake's Work!

Here is my attempt at trying to get the girls to hold still long enough to show off them knowing that Santa says....Ho Ho Ho!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!!!

Dolls!

I just thought I would post a few cute pictures of the girls playing with their dolls! They have started playing with them a lot more the last month or two. I love how they just started carrying them around and saying "Ahhh, Baby". The video is trying to capture the cute saying!
Sadie is in grey, and Samantha is in pink.

Jake's Birthday!

It was Jake's Birthday on Sunday! I am so glad there is a day to celebrate Jake! He is such an awesome husband, and a great friend to me! And such a fun, cute Dad to the girls! We had a great time celebrating! This was my first attempt at being a cake decorator! Let's just say I won't be starting a business anytime soon! Hopefully practice will eventually make perfect! It is just funny how you have something envisioned in your head and then the finished product looked quite a bit different! Oh Well, I think it turned out good enough that you should be able to tell it is a Ute Jersey! Thanks to the Utes for winning the big game on Saturday, any of you that know Jake will realize that them winning was Present Enough!!!

The Birthday Boy!!

Make a Wish!

They love waking Daddy up in the morning! Sam standing.

The girls are showing off their newest trick! They have discovered that they can climb up on our tall kitchen table chairs! Although it is entertaining to see them be so proud of their new accomplishment, it sure makes things more interesting!! Goodbye Tablerunner with Centerpiece! Sadie left, Samantha right.

I just have to give credit to my cute husband, for my "Just Because" flowers! It meant so much to me! I think Jake was actually missing Paris! (Like he does atleast once a day!) And remembered how we loved to buy fresh flowers from the cute little shops right by our flat! Fun Memories!

I have received requests to post more video of the girls! I'm glad you enjoy them as much as we do! I have to apologize in advance for my horrible rendition of Ring around the Rosy!

Halloween Etc.

We had a fun time celebrating Halloween! We tried to get the girls to say "Trick-or-Treat", but we ended up settling for a "Boo" instead! These first pictures are from a fun party they held at Jake's work, they went all out! There were fun little crafts to make, cookie decorating, balloon animals, a spiderweb catch (aka fish pond), good food and a huge trick or treating set up!

We also hit up our old ward's trunk or treat! It was so great to see all of our good friends!

Aren't our little friends costumes so cute?! Elsie is a giraffe and Amelia a chicken! To be honest...I can't tell which twin that is?! Oops!

Samantha

Okay this is bad.....I have not mixed them up in a long time! I really thought this was Sadie and now all the sudden I think it might be Samantha?! I promise in real life I can always tell them apart!!!

Okay, this one I'm sure! Sam left, Sadie right

We met up with some friends at the Deanna Rose Farmstead, it is a fun little farm where you can check out the animals and if you are brave (which I am not) then you can get in and pet the animals and feed the lambs bottles etc. We will have to bring Jake along next time, he is brave!
