February!

Here are the girls modeling these cute aprons that my amazing sis-in-law made for us for Christmas! They love wearing these, they especially love the pockets! And it has been fun....they are so very interested in helping out in the kitchen!!

I just happened to be craving chocolate chip cookies and Jake was out of town so we decided to whip some up! Unfortunately they did not turn out! I think I might stick with the ready made dough for next time!! But atleast we made some fun memories!

Here is just a little photo shoot after church one Sunday. They were loving their knee socks! And I was loving them in them as well!!

Just incase you don't know...Sadie is in brown, Samantha pink.

Our cute friend Quinci put together a fun little Valentine playgroup for the kiddos! It truly is amazing that we got even just 3 of them looking for this photo!

These are the adorable flowers that Jake brought home for the girls and I for Valentine's Day! What a doll!!
AND GUESS WHAT EVERYONE????!!!!! (Well to those few of you that still happen to check my blog!!!!) I AM CAUGHT UP!!! I truly am so proud of myself! Now if I could just keep up with it! Just in time to hopefully be posting baby sister pictures very soon!!!!
Stay Tuned!!

Twinners Turn 3!

Can't believe my twinner girls are 3 years old already!!! They of course chose to have a Princess Party and it was perfect!

We played pin the glass slipper on Cinderella!

Princess....Princess....Frog (instead of Duck Duck Goose)

Pass the Poisoned Snow White Apple

and of course Cake Time! I must say...I hope that practice makes perfect because this cake decorating thing was a little crazy! I think the problem is I had watched a how to video a few times on line to make this Barbie cake and believe me mine did not turn out like hers! Oh well..the girls seemed to love it and that is all that matters right?!

Sadie as Cinderella!

Samantha as Snow White!

I also have to publicly thank my cute Mom for her artistic abilities! She made these princesses and mailed them out special for the girls party!!

As Sadie would say my new "Bycicle", I don't know why I get such a kick out of her calling it that! We have since had a few nice days and tried to have them ride these outside....it is going to take some practice, that is forsure! But they sure seem grown up riding these!

What a fun day! So glad we had fun friends to help us celebrate! I can't even express how much I love these two little girls! What joy and excitment and DRAMA they bring to our lives daily!!! I feel so lucky to get to be their Mom!!

January!

We were all about the ice skating this winter! While we were still in Utah for Christmas Break Jake's awesome aunt and cousin that teach ice skating spent some time with the girls at the rink! It was so fun watching the girls try to learn to skate! They had such a great time! How lucky we are to have these super nice relatives in the business!

Jake got out there and got some practice in as well! This pair of skates treated him A LOT better than the last time he tried!

Here is Sadie sporting "Safety Knees"

Wish we could even dream of affording ice skating lessons for the girls someday!
They sure had fun!
While we were up in Logan there was a beautiful snow storm and we decided to take the girls out sledding! This is really one of their first times ever playing in the snow! Thank goodness they had fun cousins there to play with!
Aleigha and Samantha

Jakie and Sadie

Thanks to Grandpa Brucie, he did all the work with the sled!

This is just a cute picture I took of the girls back here in Kansas, they put Jake's hats on and were being so dang cute with each other!

December!

This is a crazy long post with tons of pictures!
What can I say...December was a busy fun month!
It is too hard to leave any of the details out!
First of all...here we are decorating the tree!

The girls of course decked out in princess attire! This is a daily occurence!

Samantha!

Sadie!
Our tradition is always to watch the movie Elf while decorating!

This is at Jake's Annual Work Christmas Party. Thank goodness they were happy to pose with Mrs. Claus, because they kept saying "No, Ho Ho!" Which translates to please don't make me go near Santa Claus!!

Cookie Decorating!

This was the closest we got to Santa...waving at him in line!
Jake did carry Sadie up to see if she would change her mind, but she freaked, and the most hilarious thing was Samantha screaming, "No, Sadie, No!!!" like we were putting her in danger or something! It is sad to have them be so worried, but quite comical at the same time!!

Afterwards, Jake had a great idea to take the girls to the outdoor skating rink down at Crown Center! Here they are all set to go give it a try!!

Dad and Sadie in action!

Dad and Samantha! Poor Jake is starting to feel it!!

It was so sad.....we are thinking that Jake did not get the right size of skates!! He was feeling some serious pain pretty quick!! What a good sport, though!! (Don't worry...more pics to come of our 2nd time ice skating and Jake was skating like a professional!!!)

I just had to post this picture because it cracks me up that out of all the shots we took the one where the girls are finally both smiling and looking so cute at the camera and I am the one messing it up!!! Of course!!

Here we are showing off our attempt at Graham cracker gingerbread houses! They didn't turn out to be anything very deluxe, but we had a fun time making them!!

I am assuming now with the haircuts people know who is who, but just incase....

We headed to Utah for Christmas of course, and had a fun Christmas Eve with Jake's family! Here the girls are posing in their new Dora nightgowns from Grandma Janet!

It was so fun to have the girls be more into the Christmas fun and traditions! Here we are getting cookies ready to leave for Santa!

The girls were so WASTED! Too much partying I'm sure! So Jake spent half the night with them! Here they are all knocked out! I wish I could get the video to load of us waking up the girls for Christmas morning and them both crying and saying "NO, SANTA!" They were so worried the night before thinking that Santa would be in the house while they were asleep, that we finally told them we would have him leave their presents outside and we would bring them in for them! Of course once we got them upstairs to check out their loot, they were thrilled! I hope they remember this for next year! What a great guy Santa really is!!!!

We didn't really get a lot of great Christmas morning shots, but here is Sam opening up some blocks!!

And Sadie opening up her Fashion Friends!

Here they are with their new princess purses and jewelry that they picked out for each other!

Playing with Grandpa Spencie and their new baby dolls!

We had a great Christmas Day party with my family, again not a lot of great pictures captured, but we all had a super fun time!
The official Christmas Day family picture!
Well...it just might happen, I might be caught up before our newest little addition shows up! I am 38 weeks today, so hopefully you will see a few more posts this week!!
